Description: Found from the Himalayas to Japan, this evergreen species is usually shrubby but under ideal conditions can develop into a tree up to 50 ft (15 m) tall. Its rather narrow leaves are deep glossy green, up to 6 in (15 cm) long and have 3 conspicuous veins.
