Description: This is a hybrid between the 2 snakebark maples Acer davidii and A. pensylvanicum, first found in England in the 1960s. A vigorous tree of up to 30 ft (9 m), it has leaves with 3 or 5 lobes, although the 2 lowermost lobes are usually small.

Growth Habit: Multi-branched habit with spreading crown
