Description: From Japan, this tree or shrub to 40 ft (12 m) is uncommon in gardens. Branches are green and inconspicuously striped. The leaves are up to 4 in (10 cm) long, 5 or 7-lobed and sculptured, turning amber-red in autumn. Viable seed is rarely set. ZONES 5?8.

Growth Habit: Multi-branched habit
