Description: This hybrid of Aesculus hippocastanum and A. pavia grows up to 30 ft (9 m). It is thought to have originated in Germany in the early 1800s. The deep reddish pink flowers have yellow blotches and appear on erect panicles in late spring

Growth Habit: Rounded dome habit, pyramid shape when young
