Description: Found in the cool temperate and near-arctic regions of North America and northern Eurasia, this very hardy, prostrate, evergreen shrub has deep green, 1?4?1?2?in (6?12?mm) long leaves with paler undersides and in summer it bears tiny pale purple flowers.
