Grapes
I have 2 grape vines here in Ottawa. I planted them about 7 years ago, and gradually got fruit, including 37 pounds 4 years ago. then, I got end rot, then the next year zero fruit, but bountiful leaves. How can I get fruit again?

Re: Grapes
I've had that problem. Try cutting back alot of the newer growth in early spring (April-Early May). letting new vines grow, seems to produce more fruit on my plants.
Are the vines properly supported and well off the ground?

Re: Grapes
thank you for taking the time to reply. I have 2 vines, and they first drape over a trellis, then run about 15 feet horizontally and I have tied up to a horiz. pole about 3 feet off the ground. I have never pruned the vines, so maybe cutting out the dead vines and trimming the new growth will stimulate fruit production.
