sprouts on cedar
I have a cedar that, after recent trimming, has sprouted dozens of mini mushrooms all over the trunk and branches that are now exposed.  What does this mean?

Re: sprouts on cedar

It means you have mushrooms......Spores probably took hold when it was dark and moist and have flourished from their new found light...mushrooms will not likely harm the tree though.they may even be edible.but make sure you identify them non poisonous first before you try em.
