These large-scale pebble mosaics are very hardwearing and can be repeated as many times as necessary to lay as part of a path or patio. The square slab measures 36cm/14in across - anything larger becomes too unwieldy and will be more likely to break.
Sort your collection of pebbles by colour and shape to make decorative slabs with regular patterns. Using smaller frames, you can also create little pebble pictures to set in a floor or wall.
