Make a pair of compasses by tying a wooden peg to each end of a piece of string the length of the radius of the wheel. Dig over the approximate area of the wheel and prepare the soil by adding compost (soil mix) or manure and fertilizer. Use the compasses to mark out the circle and place the circular cover in the centre. Position bricks around the circle and across the centre to form the "spokes".
